Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 (3 3/4 oz.) vanilla instant pie mix
  • 2 cups 10x sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) package chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound paraffin wax

Instructions

  1. Combine 1/2 cup butter, sugar, cocoa, and vanilla in the top of a double boiler.
  2. Cook over boiling water until the butter melts.
  3. Stir in the slightly beaten egg and continue to stir until mixture is thick, about 3 minutes.
  4. Blend in graham cracker crumbs and coconut.
  5. Press the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan to form the crust.
