- In a 9 x 13 inch pan, layer whole graham crackers to coat the bottom without greasing or spraying.
- In a saucepan, mix canned milk, margarine, white sugar, brown sugar, and the slightly beaten egg.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla, coconut, chopped pecan pieces, and crushed graham crackers.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then spread evenly over the graham cracker layer.
- Place another layer of whole graham crackers on top of the coconut mixture.
- Spread Betty Crocker cream cheese icing over the top layer of graham crackers.
- Refrigerate the assembled bars until chilled and set.
- Cut into bars and serve.
