Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Instructions

  1. Heat milk, water, honey, and salt until warm.
  2. Put the mixture in a bowl; add the flour, oats, chopped pecans, grated orange peel, and yeast, then mix well.
  3. Turn the dough onto a floured board and knead until smooth.
  4. Place the kneaded dough into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
