Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour, sifted three times
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Preheat a griddle.
  3. Pour batter onto the hot griddle and cook until bubbles form on the surface.
  4. Turn the hot cakes and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Serve hot with heated syrup.
