Ingredients

  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 4 to 6 quarts tomato juice
  • parsley
  • celery (lots)
  • onion
  • peppers
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 to 2 pounds hamburger
  • sharp cheese
  • elbow noodles
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook tomato sauce, tomato juice, parsley, celery, onion, peppers, salt, and pepper; then add hamburger and cook thoroughly.
  2. Add sugar until the sauce tastes sweet.
  3. Cook noodles and cut sharp cheese into cubes.
  4. Place cooked noodles in a roaster pan.
  5. Pour the sauce over the noodles and top with cheese cubes.
  6. Bake at 375° to 400°F until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
