Ingredients

  • 1 jar dried beef
  • 6 to 8 chicken breasts, halved, skinned and boned
  • 1 small carton sour cream
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Chop dried beef into small pieces and sprinkle evenly over the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Wrap each chicken breast with one strip of bacon.
  4. Place the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts on top of the dried beef in the pan.
  5. In a bowl, mix the sour cream and mushroom soup until well combined.
  6. Pour the sour cream and mushroom soup mixture over the chicken breasts.
  7. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 24 hours.
  8. Bake covered at 350°F (175°C) for 2 hours before serving.
