Ingredients

  • 1 lb codfish
  • 3 small white potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 4 green hot peppers
  • 1 medium onion
  • 8 oz can salmon
  • 3 stalks scallions

Instructions

  1. Soak the codfish overnight in water.
  2. Drain the water and replace with fresh water, then boil the codfish until cooked.
  3. Boil the potatoes until tender and then mash them.
  4. In a frying pan, cook the chopped onions, scallions, and green peppers until softened.
  5. Mix the cooked codfish, mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, eggs, and seasonings together.
  6. Form the mixture into small balls and roll them in flour.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan until hot.
  8. Fry the balls until brown all over, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
  9. Repeat until all mixture is cooked.
