Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 cans fruit pie filling or 2 cans fruit

Instructions

  1. Mix together the self-rising flour, sugar, and milk in a bowl.
  2. Melt the margarine in an iron skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the flour mixture and fruit filling to the melted butter in the skillet.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 40 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. If using fresh fruit, sweeten to taste before adding to the batter.
