Ingredients

  • 1 fryer chicken
  • 1 can Veg-All, drained
  • 1 can English peas, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Pie crust

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken until tender; reserve the broth.
  2. Remove meat from bones and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, drained Veg-All, drained English peas, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Add water if needed to reach desired consistency.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
  6. Pour the hot mixture into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  7. Cover with pie crust and bake as desired.
