Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped or flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup shelled sunflower seeds
  • 3/4 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup wheat germ

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease 2 (9 x 13-inch) baking pans or a large roasting pan.
  3. Place vegetable oil, honey, hot water, salt, vanilla, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a Vita-Mix or blender container.
  4. Clamp the action dome in place.
  5. Turn the speed control to high.
  6. Lift the red impact lever up to the on position and run the machine until steaming, about 3 minutes.
