- Sift together baking powder, salt, and flour; set aside.
- Mix together cooked and mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, and melted butter.
- Add the sweet potato mixture to the dry ingredients and combine.
- Turn the dough out onto a heavily floured surface and knead 4 or 5 times, adding flour as needed.
- Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter.
- Place the biscuits on an ungreased cookie sheet, allowing space for golden crusts.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes until golden.
