Ingredients

  • 1 can French green beans
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 small package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 stick oleo (butter)
  • 1 small package slivered almonds
  • 1 roll crushed Ritz crackers

Instructions

  1. Place drained green beans and corn in a 9 x 9-inch dish.
  2. Mix cream of celery soup, sour cream, shredded Cheddar cheese, and diced onion; spread this mixture on top of the vegetables.
  3. Melt the oleo (butter) and mix in the slivered almonds and crushed Ritz crackers.
  4. Pour the oleo mixture evenly over the cheese soup layer.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  6. Microwave the casserole for 2 to 3 minutes before baking to cook the onion.
