- Wash, drain, string and trim ends of green beans and break/cut into 2-inch pieces.
- Pack tightly into hot canning jars, leaving 1-inch headspace.
- Add 1 teaspoon salt to each quart.
- Pour in boiling water, covering beans; but leaving 1-inch headspace.
- Put on caps.
- Process in pressure cooker at 10 pounds pressure, pints 20 minutes and quarts 25 minutes.
