Ingredients

  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 4 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped mild green chiles
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Butter the bottom of an 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
  2. Spread chopped green chiles on the bottom of the pan.
  3. Sprinkle grated sharp Cheddar cheese over the chiles.
  4. Pour beaten eggs evenly over the cheese and chiles.
  5. Bake, uncovered, at 350°F for 30 minutes, or until the mixture is firm when shaken.
  6. Cut into 1-inch squares.
  7. Serve hot on a warming tray.
