Ingredients

  • 6 oz. package lime gelatin
  • 1 cup water (hot)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 lb. cottage cheese
  • 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts)

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and mayonnaise in a small bowl until well combined.
  2. In a large bowl, add the lime gelatin and hot water; stir until dissolved.
  3. Add the sugar/mayonnaise mixture, crushed pineapple, cottage cheese, evaporated milk, and chopped walnuts to the gelatin mixture.
  4. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
  5. Refrigerate until chilled and serve.
