Ingredients

  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 10 hamburger rolls
  • fresh lettuce
  • 10 slices fresh tomato
  • large fresh onion rings

Instructions

  1. Combine 1/4 cup water and the dry onion soup mix in a bowl.
  2. Stir well to blend the soup mix with water.
  3. Add the ground beef to the mixture and blend until well combined.
  4. Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions and shape into patties.
  5. Place the patties on a hot grill over charcoal.
  6. Cook the burgers to your desired level of doneness.
  7. Toast the hamburger rolls on the grill if desired.
  8. Assemble each burger by placing lettuce on the bottom half of the bun.
  9. Add a cooked patty on top of the lettuce.
  10. Top with a slice of tomato and a large onion ring.
  11. Cover with the top bun and serve immediately.
