Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup apricot or plum preserves
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 ham steak (1-inch thick and about 2 lb.)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the preserves, mustard, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  2. Cook and stir over low heat until thoroughly combined, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Score the fat edges of the ham steak.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium coals.
  5. Grill the ham steak for 8 to 10 minutes per side.
  6. Brush with the glaze during the last few minutes of grilling.
