Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 can Ranch Style or pinto beans
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 package cornbread mix

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger and chopped onion over medium heat.
  2. Spoon off excess fat from the meat mixture.
  3. Add chili powder, garlic salt, and salt; mix well.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, water, and beans.
  5. Spread the meat mixture evenly in a casserole dish.
