Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 c. prepared vegetable cocktail
  • 3 c. sliced cabbage
  • 1 medium potato, cubed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 c. green beans, drained

Instructions

  1. Cook the lean ground beef until browned.
  2. Remove any excess fat from the meat.
  3. Add the prepared vegetable cocktail, sliced cabbage, cubed potato, diced onion, and drained green beans to the cooked beef.
  4. Season to taste with salt, pepper, or other preferred spices.
  5. Cover the skillet or pot and simmer on low heat for about 40 minutes, stirring often.
  6. Serve hot, dividing into 6 portions.
