Tasty Appetizer Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1 c. fresh bread crumbs
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salad oil
  • 1 c. beef broth or bouillon

Instructions

  1. Mix together all ingredients except oil and broth.
  2. Shape into small 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Preheat frypan on high setting for 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. Lightly brush frypan with oil.
  5. Add half of meatballs and fry until lightly browned, turning occasionally.
  6. When meatballs are browned, remove and repeat with remaining meatballs. Drain.
  7. Return all meatballs to frypan.
  8. Add broth to frypan.
  9. Cover and turn frypan temperature to low. Simmer for about 5 to 15 minutes or until cooked through.
  10. Serve on toothpick from frypan.
  11. These meatballs may be frozen for later use.
