Ground Turkey Stroganoff
A hearty, comforting ground turkey stroganoff with rich gravies, vegetables, and noodles, perfect for a family dinner or weeknight meal with savory flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 10 oz. can turkey gravy ⓘ
- 10 oz. can beef gravy
- small can mushroom pieces ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 small onion ⓘ
- 9 oz. package frozen chopped broccoli ⓘ
- 1 small carrot ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. A.1. sauce ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. onion salt ⓘ
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Italian dressing
- 1 lb. extra wide egg noodles ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown ground turkey in 1 1/2 tablespoons Italian dressing, crushing it to keep pieces small.
- Drain the cooked turkey and stir in A.1. sauce.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain without rinsing.
- Prepare the frozen broccoli according to package directions, adding the quartered onions and thin carrot strips to cook simultaneously.
- Drain the cooked vegetables and set aside.
- Heat both cans of gravy in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add onion salt, garlic salt, mushrooms, and Worcestershire sauce to the gravy and simmer for one minute.
- Add the browned turkey meat to the gravy mixture and stir to combine.
- Place the cooked noodles on plates.
- Spoon the gravy and meat mixture over the noodles and mix gently.
- Sprinkle the drained vegetable mixture over the top or arrange around the sides of the plate to complete the presentation.
- Serve hot.
