Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 15 oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 6 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 or 2 bay leaves
  • 1 Tbsp. dry parsley

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. Mix the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic powder, salt, thyme, bay leaves, and dry parsley in a microwavable dish.
  3. Add the cooked meat mixture into the dish with the tomato mixture.
  4. Cook on 50% power in the microwave for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve the sauce over cooked spaghetti.
