Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. quick rising yeast
  • 1/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. cooking oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. scalded milk
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1 egg
  • 3 1/2 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in water with 1 teaspoon of sugar; set aside. Heat milk.
  2. Add cold water to cool.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Mix all ingredients together and let set for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. This is important.
