Ingredients

  • 2 cans apple pie filling
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 1 Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Pour apple pie filling into a 13 1/2 x 8 3/4 x 1 3/4 inch baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the apple filling and then sprinkle with cinnamon.
  3. Gently blend the mixture slightly to distribute the cinnamon.
  4. Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over the top.
  5. Place pats of margarine over the entire top of the mixture.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
