Halmoni's Strawberry Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 14 cup brown sugar
  • 34 cup pecans, chopped
  • 12 cup butter
  • 30 marshmallows
  • 12 pint cream, whipped
  • 2 cups water, boiling
  • 23 cup milk, hot
  • 1 (6 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
  • 1 lb frozen strawberries

Instructions

  1. Mix crust ingredients together with a pastry blender.
  2. Pat into the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
  3. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees and cool completely.
  4. Melt marshmellows in milk, LET COOL.
  5. (Must cool completely!)

  7. Fold in whipped cream and spread over cooled crust.
  8. Chill until set.
  9. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  10. Stir in frozen strawberries and chill until it begins to thicken.
  11. Spread carefully over marshmellow layer.
  12. Chill well before serving.
  13. HINT: Do jello first so it can be thickening while you do the other steps.
