Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons oleo
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook chopped onion in oleo until tender; blend in flour and seasonings.
  2. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
  3. Stir in diced cooked ham and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
  4. Alternate layers of cooked noodles and sauce mixture in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  5. Top with additional Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
