Tips & Substitutions

For a creamier texture, consider using whipped cream cheese instead of regular. If you prefer a bit more heat, add extra prepared horseradish or even some hot sauce. This recipe can also be made with turkey or chicken slices for a lighter option. Experiment with different spices, such as garlic powder or smoked paprika, to enhance the flavor profile.

Serving Suggestions

These ham cubes are perfect as an appetizer or snack at parties and gatherings. Serve them alongside a fresh vegetable platter or with crackers for a delightful crunch. They pair beautifully with Maryhelen'S Chocolate Cake for a sweet finish to your meal. Feel free to slice them into bite-sized pieces for easy serving.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers tightly wrapped in waxed paper or plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, you can freeze the layered ham cubes, but make sure to thaw them in the refrigerator before serving. This way, they maintain their texture and flavor.
