Ingredients

  • 6 thin slices uncooked ham
  • 3 tsp mustard
  • 3 tsp wine vinegar
  • 6 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 c cooking sherry

Instructions

  1. Spread each ham slice with a thin coating of mustard.
  2. Place the ham slices in a skillet and pour in wine vinegar.
  3. Cook quickly, turning often until browned.
  4. Place the ham on a hot platter or plate.
  5. In the skillet, add brown sugar to the remaining mustard and vinegar.
  6. Pour in cooking sherry and bring to a boil.
  7. Pour the sherry mixture over the ham and serve.
