Delicious ham-stuffed mushrooms feature tender mushroom caps filled with a savory mixture of ham, onion, bread crumbs, and pimiento, perfect as an appetizer or party finger food.

Ingredients

  • 16 large mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
  • 1 (6.75 oz.) can Hormel chunk ham, flaked
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. pimiento, diced

Instructions

  1. Wash the mushrooms thoroughly.
  2. Finely chop the stems of the mushrooms and the onion.
  3. Sauté the chopped stems and onion in margarine until tender, but not browned.
  4. Add the flaked ham, bread crumbs, and diced pimiento to the sautéed mixture.
  5. Stir until well combined and the crumbs are soft.
  6. Place the mushroom caps in a buttered baking dish.
  7. Spoon the ham mixture into each mushroom cap.
  8. Bake, covered, at 375°F for 15 minutes.
