Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 can diced carrots
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons flour

Instructions

  1. In a large kettle, scramble the hamburg and chopped onion in a little oil.
  2. Add canned diced carrots and cover with water.
  3. Cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Add diced potatoes and simmer for 1 hour.
  5. Thicken the stew with flour dissolved in water or water and cornstarch.
