Hamburger By The Yard

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 (12 oz.) can whole corn, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 8 slices cheese
  • 1 loaf French bread, split lengthwise

  5. large bowl mix all ingredients except cheese and bread. Spread
  6. mixture evenly on cut side of bread.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes. Cut cheese slices into thirds.
  8. Arrange on top of meat.
  9. Bake another 5 minutes or until cheese starts to melt.
