Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 3 c. hot water
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 c. elbow macaroni

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onions in a skillet; drain off excess fat.
  2. Add tomato paste, hot water, chili powder, salt, and garlic salt to the beef mixture.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Add the uncooked elbow macaroni to the boiling mixture.
  5. Cover the skillet and simmer for 15 minutes, until macaroni is tender.
