Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cans water
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce or teriyaki sauce
  • 6-ounce can chow mein noodles

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion and ground beef until browned.
  2. Mix cooked mixture with cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, uncooked rice, and soy sauce.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with a 6-ounce can of chow mein noodles.
  6. Return to oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
