Ingredients

  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can beef mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Combine 1/4 cup mushroom soup, ground beef, bread crumbs, beaten egg, and chopped onion. Mix well and shape into patties.
  2. Brown the patties in a skillet; drain off excess grease.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix remaining mushroom soup with water.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the browned patties and let simmer, covered, over low heat for 20 minutes.
