Ingredients

  • 3 cans pinto beans
  • 3 cans whole tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • 1 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 2 pkg. chili powder
  • 2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the pinto beans.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  3. Drain excess fat from the beef.
  4. Add the beans, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, diced onion, diced green pepper, chili powder, and water to the skillet.
  5. Simmer the mixture for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
