Ingredients

  • 1/2 to 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger meat and chopped onion in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
  2. Blend mayonnaise, milk, beaten eggs, and cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Stir in the cooked meat and onion mixture, then add chopped Cheddar cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a pie shell or a baking dish lined with sliced potatoes.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes or until the top is browned and bubbly.
