Instructions
- Mix ground beef, chopped onion, cracker crumbs, and eggs well and shape into patties.
- Saute the patties slowly for about 30 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove the patties from the pan and set aside.
- Add 1/3 cup cooking oil and 2 tablespoons flour to the drippings in the pan to make a gravy.
- Pour in the cream of mushroom soup.
- Heat and stir until the gravy thickens.
- Pour the mushroom gravy over the hamburger patties and serve.
