Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 (12 oz.) bottle salsa
  • 1 lb. Mexican cheese
  • 6 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Mix ground chuck, chopped onion, chopped garlic, salsa, salt, and pepper in a skillet.
  2. Cook until onions and garlic are tender.
  3. Layer meat mixture and flour tortillas in a baking dish, adding cheese between each layer.
  4. End with meat mixture on top.
  5. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
  6. Bake at 350°F for approximately 30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
