Hard teething biscuits are durable, crumb-free treats perfect for soothing teething gums. Mildly sweet with a rich molasses flavor, suitable for babies and toddlers learning to chew.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 to 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon molasses

Instructions

  1. Break eggs into a bowl and stir until creamy.
  2. Add sugar and stir well.
  3. Gradually add flour to make a stiff dough.
  4. Roll out the dough between two sheets of lightly floured wax paper to about 3/4 inch thickness.
  5. Cut into round shapes, or roll into snakes or donuts.
  6. Place the cut shapes on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  7. Let stand overnight for 10 to 12 hours.
  8. Bake at 325°F until brown and hard.
