- First, press tofu by cutting into 1/2-inch slices and firmly patting out excess water with an absorbent towel.
- Cut the tofu into small cubes.
- Spray a nonstick skillet or wok with Pam.
- Add the tofu to the skillet; sauté on high heat for 5 minutes, turning with a spatula.
- Reduce heat to medium.
- Add turmeric; stir until the tofu is yellow all over.
- Add the remaining seasonings (dill weed, sweet basil, powdered thyme, ground cumin, curry, garlic), stirring well between each addition. Increase heat.
- Add soy sauce, stirring constantly.
- Finally, add Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast; mix well and sauté until golden brown or until the cheese melts.
- Serve hot or cold.
