A crunchy, sweet, and nutty granola perfect for breakfast, snacking, or topping yogurt, combining oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, honey, and vanilla for a wholesome treat.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. corn or canola oil
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 c. old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. chopped almonds
  • 1/4 c. sunflower seeds, shelled
  • 1/4 c. raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine corn or canola oil, honey, and vanilla extract; warm over low heat until blended.
  3. In a large bowl, mix oats, chopped almonds, sunflower seeds, and raisins.
  4. Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before storing or serving.
