Ingredients

  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs with melted margarine and sugar, then press into a dish and cool.
  2. In a bowl, blend cream cheese, milk, confectioners sugar, and Cool Whip until smooth.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  4. In a saucepan, cook water, sugar, and cornstarch until thickened.
  5. Add Jell-O to the hot mixture and stir until dissolved.
  6. Add strawberries (or any desired fruit) to the Jell-O mixture.
  7. Pour the Jell-O and fruit mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Refrigerate until the dessert is fully gelled and chilled before serving.
