Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 lb. beef roast
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp. crumbled rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. seasoned pepper
  • 1 tsp. thyme

Instructions

  1. Moisten the surface of the meat.
  2. Combine the flour, crumbled rosemary, dry mustard, seasoned salt, seasoned pepper, and thyme.
  3. Rub the mixture onto the roast.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  5. Place the meat on a rack in a roasting pan.
  6. Roast until the internal temperature reaches 140°F for rare or 160°F for medium.
  7. Cooking time will vary depending on the weight of the roast.
  8. Do not cook to well done.
