Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 cups shelled peas
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon savory
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Saute the green onions in butter in a saucepan for 5 minutes, or until they are tender, but not browned.
  2. Add the shelled peas, water, sugar, savory, and marjoram to the saucepan.
  3. Cover tightly and cook over low heat for 25 minutes, or until peas are tender.
  4. Stir in minced parsley before serving.
