Herbed Spinach Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. margarine, melted
  • 1/3 c. plus 2 tsp. bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. sage
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Thaw spinach and drain well.
  2. Combine spinach, egg, onion and margarine.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  4. Shape into 16 balls.
  5. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350° until browned (18 to 20 minutes).
