Ingredients

  • Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 3/4 Cup of Sugar
  • 1 Stick of Margarine (softened)
  • 2/3 Cup of Shortening
  • 2/3 Cup of Evaporated Milk
  • 2 Teaspoons of Vanilla
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 Can of Dark Chocolate Frosting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the devil's food cake mix as directed on the package.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased 10 x 15-inch pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes.
  4. Let the cake cool completely.
  5. Combine sugar, softened margarine, shortening, evaporated milk, vanilla, and salt. Beat with an electric mixer until fluffy, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Spread the vanilla sugar mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
  7. Heat the dark chocolate frosting in the microwave for 20 to 25 seconds until softened.
  8. Spread the melted frosting over the cream layer.
