Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 1.5 to 2 lb ground beef
  • 7 large peeled and sliced potatoes
  • 1 can sliced carrots

Instructions

  1. Slice the onion and place it on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  2. Make hamburger patties from the ground beef and place them on top of the onion.
  3. Spread the sliced potatoes evenly over the hamburger patties.
  4. Add sliced carrots on top of the potatoes.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cover the dish and cook at 375°F (190°C) for about 45 minutes or until the meat is cooked and the potatoes are tender.
