Holiday Bean Dish
Ingredients
- 2 cans French-cut green beans, drained ⓘ
- 2 cans Shoepeg corn (white), drained* ⓘ
- 1 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 c. onion ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained ⓘ
- 1 c. celery, chopped ⓘ
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded ⓘ
- 1 c. sour cream ⓘ
- salt and pepper to taste ⓘ
- small box cheese Ritz crackers, crushed ⓘ
- 1/2 stick butter ⓘ
- 3 oz. pkg. slivered almonds ⓘ
Instructions
- Using a strainer bowl, drain green beans, corn and mushrooms. Chop green pepper, onion, and celery.
- Combine sour cream and shredded cheese.
- Blend with vegetables, put in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Top with crushed cheese Ritz crackers, butter and almonds.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
