- Melt the chocolate bits in a double boiler over hot water.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in the corn syrup and whiskey.
- Combine wafer crumbs, confectioners sugar, and chopped nuts in a bowl.

- Mix well and let stand for 30 minutes.
- Form into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated or confectioners sugar.
- Place in a covered container and let ripen for several days.
