Holiday Turkey
A classic holiday turkey with a flavorful lemon and herb rub, basted with butter or oil for a juicy, golden roast perfect for festive gatherings.

Instructions
- Wipe the turkey with a damp towel.
- Rub inside the turkey with lemon, salt, and Tabasco sauce.
- Loosely stuff the body and neck cavities with dressing, allowing 1 cup per pound of meat.
- Truss the bird by tying the legs, running string under the wings and back to the legs, then tying.
- Rub butter or oil over the entire outside of the turkey.
- Roast in a preheated 350°F oven for 45 minutes, then turn the turkey on its other side and roast for another 45 minutes.
- Turn the turkey on its back and roast for 2 hours, basting with butter or oil every 20 minutes.
